Firm Profile

eTaxResearch.com is owned by Alan D. Campbell.  He is an author and a CPA.  He never worked for the IRS, and he never will.  He works to assist taxpayers and practitioners in saving taxes and in winning disputes with the IRS.  He earned a Ph.D. in accouting with an emphasis in taxation from the University of North Texas.   Dr. Campbell is also a Certified Management Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner certificant, and he is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.  He has published tax articles in a variety of journals including The Tax Adviser, Taxes--The Tax Magazine, Taxation for Accountants, Tax Notes, Trusts & Estates, The CPA Journal, and the National Public Accountant.. Dr. Campbell is the revision editor of CCH Financial and Estate Planning Guide, 13th edition.  He is a co-author of Tax Strategies for the Self-Employed, published by CCH Incorporated.  He is also a co-author of Study Guide to Accompany Cost Accounting, fifth edition, by Barfield, Raiborn, and Kinney, published by Thomson/South-Western.  Dr. Campbell is an adjunct professor of accounting for the Saint Leo University Center for Online Learning, and he is an online advisor for the Bisk CPA Review.

Billing and Payment Information

Payment is expected before we send research results.  Fees vary depending on the nature of the assignment.  The minimum hourly fee is $100 an hour.  Fees can be greater depending on the nature of the assignment and the desired completion time.  We might take some assignments on a flat fee basis.
